With the size of Western Europe and only three million inhabitants, the modern state of Mongolia is the most sparsely populated country in the world. Largely untouched by modern life, the Mongolian nomads have cultivated and preserved their millennia-old traditions. One principle of their ancient way of life is to live in harmony with the surrounding nature and all the creatures living in it, as it has been the case for centuries.
