ANANAS+ is the thicker version of our yarn made from pineapple fibres. It is ideal for home décor and decorative projects that need to hold their shape well.
The fibres are obtained from the leaves of the pineapple plant, which are usually treated as waste and often burned. For our ANANAS yarns, they are processed using a sustainable method without bleach. Impurities are removed by means of an enzymatic washing process that uses no harmful chemicals whatsoever. The remaining production steps are carried out entirely mechanically, in order to minimise the impact on the environment.
