Produced by our long-standing partners in Italy, our mulesing-free quality LAMBSWOOL is traceable right back to the farm of origin in Eastern Australia. The entire delivery chain of the yarn is certified RWS (Responsible Wool Standard), this ensures the welfare of the sheep, sustainable land management, and safe working conditions from farm to finished product.

Furthermore, the dyeing process and all of the steps in the finishing of the yarn have Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Gold certification, which means that the yarn is completely biodegradable at the end of its life, leaving no harmful substances behind. We set out to find the finest and most beautiful mohair. In South Africa we found the highest quality. This is determined by how fine it is (diameter) and the length of the hairs. For LANGYARNS LACE we only use fibres with a diameter of less than twenty five thousandths of a millimetre. To ply with it we use high quality silk.
