The Yak is a bovid animal, to be found across Central Asia. The very fine belly hair is combed out by hand and can then be spun into wool. Yak hair is very soft, warm, heat regulating and a speciality yarn from LANGYARNS. The flecks in YAK TWEED are of colourful wool, which really bring out the tweed effect.
